The German Clearinghouse will host a seminary

"Extra judicial resolution of consumer disputes"

on December 5, 2003
at the European Parliament in Strasbourg

After the launch of the pilot phase of the EEJ-Net in 2001, a European network providing the necessary assistance for the out-of-court settlement of cross-border consumer disputes, and the creation of a national contact point in every European member state, the German Clearinghouse is organising under the patronage of the European Parliament a seminary on "Extra judicial resolution of consumer disputes".

This seminary should be an occasion to get an insight in different ADR-bodies and procedures throughout Europe and in particular in Germany. A third part will be dedicated to the bases and perspectives of ADR as well as to the judicial “alternatives” to such out-of-court procedures.
